This is a great bed and breakfast in a very quiet sleepy little
town where a relaxing weekend can be spent. Whether you find ghosts or just kick
back for a weekend this is worth your time.
We were the 2nd group to research here and the first to spend the entire night.
The first group was composed of psychics which were reported as having hit
pretty close to some historical events.
This has been a boarding house since the mid 1800s. Served the railroad as a rest stop in its early history and has recently been fully renovated into a great Bed & Breakfast after setting empty for almost 30 years.
There has been reported two deaths in the Hotel. Mrs. Ollie (a former owner) died in the bath tub of room 4 and the Town's Post Master died in what is now the TV room.
A quote from the hotel owner: "I
had a lady , traveling alone and sleeping in Room 5 ...and she said I
could give you her e-mail address ...she had her computer off. then
at 12 midnight it came on....she got out of bed and turned it off...then
at 1 pm it came on again...she got up and turned it off...then at 2 her lap top
came on again!!! this time she took the battery out of it and the first
thing she asked me at breakfast was ...do you have ghosts? "
During
our investigation:
We had some major EMF activity in
the Foyer, Bedroom 2
and the TV room, Several interesting EVP recordings
upstairs in the front upstairs bedroom.
I saw some sparkling pinpoints of light similar to very small fireflies flickering on and off occupying a volume of approx the size of a person sitting in the TV Lounge chair. I watched this for approx five minutes trying to decide if my eyes were matrixing or rods in my eyes were firing because of being in a dark room. Finally I snapped a still picture using a camcorder with flash. The picture is slightly out of focus because of the nature of the camera when shooting in a dark room can not pre-focus. This is the picture. I have placed red circles around the two sparks. I snapped 45 shots that night and these spots did not show in any other picture. - Ken

| On our visit of 11/31/08 these Steel Coat hangers moved on their own 3 separate times in a 5 minute interval. Stopping and starting again each time. We did not detect any drafts in the room and these had a wide armoire to the side that would have blocked any drafts. The only duct in the room was approx 6' above the hangers and 13 feet to the side. | |
