Since founding PIE with my wife fourteen years ago we have grown as paranormal investigators and our mission has changed.

Originally we were dragged kicking and screaming into investigating the paranormal when we had a town house with  poltergeist activity.
This proved an extreme awakening to the paranormal world and even then for the first twelve years I have always billed myself as a skeptic, believing most things have a scientific explanation.  Over the years I have seen too much evidence of the paranormal that I no longer claim to be a skeptic.

Our first mission was simply verifying that the paranormal existed. If you review some of the active case files on this site I think we have found sufficient evidence to prove there is something out there. I'm still a skeptic in terms of having to have hard tangible evidence. We long ago outgrew the days of believing dust orbs or bugs were anything more than camera artifacts. When we find anything unusual we make very diligent efforts to debug and only when everything else can be ruled out do we declare it as paranormal.

Our investigations eventual led us to becoming members of a TAPS family however extreme politics led us to branching back tp restarting our own more friendly group.

So far the most we can say is there is something out there beyond our normal senses and by definition it must be paranormal.
